Description

The Illinois Association of Problem-Solving Courts (ILAPSC) is a state-wide organization formed to promote the Problem-Solving Courts in Illinois, by providing education, assistance, training and development through collaboration of behavioral health and justice systems.

ILAPSC provides a excellent forum through which its members may network and work together in developing viable treatment options for defendants within the criminal justice system. ILAPSC hosts an annual training conference each year that targets both new drug, mental health and veterans court professionals as well as those already involved in an established drug, mental health and veterans courts. We always welcome suggested training topics each year in that we attempt to tailor our training curriculum to current practice and standards.

The Association is open to any professional involved in drug, mental health and veterans courts and is currently comprised of judges, court administrators, prosecutors, defense attorneys, probation officers, drug/alcohol treatment professionals, mental health treatment professionals, veterans treatment professionals, law enforcement personnel, correctional officers, law makers, and educators.
